What to bring

pic_jessicaWhen your child starts Nursery there are a few things you may need to bring along with you, to ensure your child’s stay is as comfortable as possible. Each child will have their own personalised bag where their belongings can be kept.

We would prefer all children’s belongings are labelled in order to prevent any confusion. Calpol or Nurofen can be brought in by parents if your child requires medication whilst in our care and the bottle/sachet must be labelled with your child’s name.  Prior to medication being administered in Nursery, we require a signature on your child’s Medical Record Sheet for parental consent and permission.  If your child becomes poorly whilst in our care, we will notify parents and gain consent to administer Calpol in emergency circumstances.

Staff will keep parent updated as to replenishing each individual child’s bags for nappies, wipes, spare clothes etc.  During the summer months, we supply suncream for the children but would require consent to apply it.  This information is contained on the Nursery Registration Form.
